The Social Responsibility program of the Petaquilla company, Petaquilla Gold. S.A, led by businessman Richard Fifer Carles gives way to community works that seek to fill some holes. The own community gets involved in several works such as sidewalds that mainly benefit schools.
The mentioned works try to improve the quality of life of hundreds of people, in this case, dozens of students that avoid getting muddy when trying to get to their school grounds when it rains. Residents of communities near the mining project such as Coclesito,
Los Molejones, Nuevo San Jose and Embarcadero, among others, have seen an improvement in many of their lifestyles, thanks to the enterprising actions that the Petaquilla Foundation has put into practice, thanks to the vision of its founder, engineer Richard Fifer Carles that has shown a lot of interest for the residents of all these communities to improve their surrounding.
