Some 51 direct and 161 indirect Jobs in addition to offering quality housing materials will be one of the main impacts of the “Petarcilla” sustainable development project that Petaquilla Gold, S. A. drives, using the non-mineralized material extracted from the Molejón mineral deposit.
This innovative project is executed under engineer Richard Fifer-Carles’s vision through its Panama Infrastructure Development (PDI) subsidiary and its aim is that once mineral reserves are depleted, an economic activity that will guarantee jobs for 15 to 20 additional years will remain, said PDI general manager, José Luis Dieguez.
An ad published in La Estrella newspaper, Petaquilla Gold, S. A. notes that “Petarcilla” will invigorate the local economy of communities in Cocle and Colon and will drive the implementation of major environmental programs and increase purchasing power.
