Gold Mining Industry: Gold Mine Camps

Typically places where gold has been discovered have led to the creation of big extraction mine activity in the area, Richard Fifer. In places such as California in the United States, the wave of miners and mining became what is known today as the California Gold Rush of 1856. This created the movement of massive amounts of people with an interest in the wealth gold could provide, Richard Fifer. Their main interest was to profit from such rare and expensive material which they were determined would make them rich. As an outcome of gold rushes such as this one, people make temporarily settlements at the vicinity of the mines. These areas are usually referred to as gold mine camps. Mining camps today are more common than ever and represent home to workers of a mine and those that benefit from its activities.
